For Families

What to Expect

We understand that coming to a residential family centre can feel daunting. Our team is here to support you every step of the way — so you know exactly what will happen, what your rights are, and how we will work together.

Welcome

We're Here to Support You

We know parenting assessment can be a daunting experience, but we are here to support and encourage you throughout your 12-week parenting assessment.

Before you arrive, we will arrange an introductory visit so you can meet the team and see your accommodation. You will be allocated a key worker — a qualified social worker — who will guide you through the whole assessment process.

The usual length of an assessment is 12 weeks; however, everybody is different, and assessments vary depending on what kind of help and support you need.
